Dual boot: I use partition magic and boot magic so I can't tell you the 'hard 'n' dirty way' to do it. I also use Drive Image 2002 for my personal machines. They've alll 3 been perfect for me, but maybe not for a Dell. Sometimes Drive Image won't work on a Dell. Sometimes Ghost also won't work on some newer Dells.

Get a Startup Diskette from http://www.bootdisk.com/ , if you don't already have one from "Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Startup Disk tab". Test the Startup Diskette. Boot it, put in a CD and "DIR" the CD. It will say which letter is the CD. (Otherwise, it is likely one letter higher than normal.

Disk Cleanup won't start - help
When I boot into Ubuntu Live CD it automatically finds the disk and mounts it but unless some USB drivers are loaded at the boot stage I guess it won't be aware of its' existence but USB drivers are only loaded when the kernel is booting so it looks like I'm stuck in a Catch-22 situation.
